October is a pretty special month for me. First, obviously, there the Ironman World championship in Hawaii but a few days after, there’s my birthday (does a small dance and hopes for some new kit!)
To celebrate these two events, I’m holding a charity give away of sexy sports bottles signed by some of the most inspiring elite triathletes! This is to contribute to reaching the fundraising target I’ve set for Ironman Wales (£1,100 pounds for both the Rotary Charity Fundraisers and the Marine Conservation Society).
You can enter the giveaway at any time throughout October and until the 31st of October (GMT). The winners will be randomly picked on the 1st of November.
Entries are free, but of course, I hope you will choose to make a donation by clicking either here or any of the photos on this post.
Each currency unit (pound, euro or dollar) you donate will count as one entry. In other words, if you donate ten pounds (or euros or dollars) this will count as ten entries. All you need to do is contact me using the form below so I can get in touch with you if you win and I will enter you in the draw.
What’s in the give away?
A bottle signed by Chrissie Wellington and on which she wrote her famous motivational poem “If” by Rudyard Kipling.
A bottle signed by Non Stanford, the incredible Welsh Olympian, with one of her own motivational quotes!
A Yorkshire Tea bottle signed by none other than the Brownlee brothers
A bottle signed by Lucy Gossage the Ironman Wales (and Ironman UK) winner.
I will also aim at sourcing more prizes to make the giveaway even more exciting and rewarding.
Why sports bottles? As a reminder of one of the main issues that currently afflicts oceans: plastic. These sports bottles are reusable and symbolise the need to limit our use of single use plastics.
